带表弟去大学报道

I was very tired after the double shift yesterday. The annual leave could not have arrived at a better time. My annual leave starts from today, for 3 weeks.

There is still plenty to do over my annual leave. Helping mum with her documents, repairing the driveway and the roof, installing garden drainage and removing the trees. And, of course, to do some pre studies for my next term.

I did not sleep well last night; might to do with the beer I had just before going to bed (it was a long day at work yesterday, I give myself that one).

Had to get up early today, taking little brother to his uni orientation. His campus is a bit far from our place, but the drive was easy. The campus is quiet. WSU has a very unfortunate name; of course, if you define your self as the “western” of something else, you would always look secondary. But, my theory is: any uni in Australia that has a medical school, a law school and phd capacity, is a good uni. Although, great as it is, calling itself the world’s number 1 is indeed far fetched …
