俄罗斯的崛起与进步

Every nation in the world has the time when it rises its power and become the most dominant force in the world. A country that stretches over a vast expanse among eastern Europe and northern Asia known as Russia Empire has been established since 882BC. Since Russian Empire has been established, the country has been dominated by many tsar. One of the most high reputation one was named as "Peter the Great". He was true founding father of Russian Empire and he brought a revolution in the land of Russia since 1689. He promoted Russia progress on its economy, politics, military power, and so on. His "Westernize" policy was considered as a great factor to make Russia became one of the strongest country in Europe during that time. However, tsar dominated Russia had disavdentage showing that people's living condition and standard was extremely low. Citizens and workers don't have funding to maintain their life. The Russian tsar also oppressed a sufferung people with strict laws and separate the people into different social levels.

Therefore, the poorest people farmers and workers started to protest against tsar in 1917 known as "February Revolution" lead by a wellknown proletarian revolutionary named Lenin. First communist and socialist nation existed in the land of Russia, known as Soviet Union or the USSR. Lenin died in 1924, and when Stalin came into power, Soviet Union became even stronger. Via two faveyear plan, Soviet Union became the strongest nation in Europe and the only nation in the Europe that has courage to fight against Nazi Germany. In 1941, Hitler invaded Soviet Union and Soviet has withstood unprecedented challenges and even its capital Moscow was suffered from a great challenge, however, Soviet government and Stalin did not give up, with even more casualties than Germany, it finally won the war and occupy Berlin.

But, new challenge came, as the strongest socialist and communist country in the world, The USA and other Western countries see it as biggest "enemy" and soon the Cold War started. The Soviet and the USA started to compete each other. From highest space competion to lowest ocean ships, from political system to economic development. Even in a small local war for example Korean War, Vietnam War... Even as biggest as Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962, they still not suspend compete to each other. Ultimately, because the Soviet pay less attention on its economy development but more on military and heavy industry, it has been crashed down in 1991.

A big superpower has been falling down. Russia as the biggest successor lead by president Putin, which has larget area of land in the world, largest exporter of natural gas, and second strongest military power currently stand on earth. Now, Russia still struggled with the combat with Ukraine and the war between them started in 2022. Hope the world be peaceful again.
