今天的工作~邮件Greetings.

从医院出来之后就没有认真仔细完全的把心思放在工作上了，这周一周5天，回想一下就做了两项工作，看了两份报告。

If you know the person， but you have not met him or her, you can use this greetings. 

Dear Mr. li: (美式写法,有点儿) American business writing

Dear Mr li (British English英式英语，没有点儿，最后没有冒号或逗号)

Dear Ms Banks:

If you  You are answering an Email and the other person used his or her. First name is a closing.  You can use the first name in your greeting.

Dear Jason,

Dear Sara,

Don't use mister or miss with the person's first name.

Is perfectly okay to use just the person's family name with miss or misses or just the first name.

If we want to be a little friendlier to someone we know like a friend or a colleague,  We sometimes use high and the first name.

Hi Jason,

Hi Sarah,

Don't know the first name.  The best thing to do is USE DEAR with the position of the person.

Don't use the company name after dear.

If we want to send an Email to a group of people, we can use something like this.

DEAR ALL

Team

Hi Folks,  informal

Hi everyone, Informal

If we don't know the name and the position, then what we can do is just omit the greeting all together.

Punctuation标点符号

Use a period点 after Mr. or Ms.

At the end of the greeting we use either a  Colon冒号,  Which is more formal,  Or a comma逗号.

Notice that there is no space before the  Comma of colon.没有空格
