A colleague

A colleague in our department who works as a network administrator, actually a technical supporter, regarding all IT problems for employees all over our company, such as fixing problems of PCs and printers, installing software, training recruits, and so on.

When he just joined our company before, I heard that he was a programmer of JAVA in his former company he worked for. But the unemployment forced him to accept the job, of course the salary was less than the programmer he was before. I don't know what he has gone through while looking for a job.

His position is next to my desk in the office, so sometimes I can peek at his screen which is in command line mode and full of code, I don't know what it is, maybe it runs under Linux system. It indicates that he is studying some technology.

His situation encourages me, don't waste time in any situation. If you have a dream, don't give it up, try to get on with life and work instead of just wallowing in your misery or self-pity.
