The other day, we visited a quiet park along the river, still under construction. A fence bordered two sides of the park, with the river flowing through the middle. Upstream, the "Begonia Flower Brook" drew crowds of tourists—miles of blooming begonias lined both riverbanks. People were taking selfies and photographing the vibrant flowers, and I wished my mom could have been there; she would have loved it.

We brought an inflatable dinghy and embarked on our first boating adventure. The air was chilly, and I couldn’t help imagining how cold the water would feel if we fell in. He bravely went first, jumping onto the boat without hesitation and attempting to roll it. Fortunately, there was no wind, and the water was calm—perfect conditions for practicing.

After mastering it individually, we tried rolling the boat together. We nearly capsized, and I scrambled onto the bank, but not before getting our bottoms wet. We realized our mistake: we should have sat one in front of the other instead of side by side. Still, it was a fun and memorable experience.
