if I look

at the crystal moon, at the red branch

of the slow autumn at my window,

当我凝望晶莹的明月 凝望在我窗前漫长秋季的红色枝桠

if I touch

near the fire

the mpalpable ash

or the wrinkled body of the log,

当我在火边 想触摸那似有似无的灰烬

或褶皱层层的干柴

evervthing carries me to you,

所有这一切都带我朝你而去

as if everything that exists,

aromas, light, medals,

仿佛我能感觉的一切：气味、光芒、金属

were little boats

that sail

toward those isles of yours that wait for me.

Well, now,

If little by little you stop loving me

I shall stop loving you little by little.

If suddenly
