Today, I just want to chat with everyone. To be honest, I've been struggling for a long time about what to share regarding today's topic. It seems like I've already shared everything I can think of, and I've talked about movies a lot, but I can't always talk about movies. I haven't watched many either.
So, I thought, let's talk about the National Day holiday. However, my routine during the holiday was just staying in my room, not going out for travel or hanging out with friends. I would sleep until I naturally woke up, have meals, continue sleeping, play with my phone, read novels, and before I knew it, the holiday was over. The holiday always goes by so quickly. Oh, the only thing worth sharing is the late-night snacks. During the day, I would sleep, but at night, I would become lively. Sometimes I would go with my cousins to the night market near Pingxiang University to eat fried /fra?d/ 油炸 food or barbecue, and there are many other delicious options. There are various types of food stalls lining the street, and the food around the university area is generally tasty.
However, most of the time, I would go to my cousin's place after she finished work, and then we would go to my aunt's house to play with my little niece. She's only one year old and looks incredibly cute. We would play with her first, and when she fell asleep, we would go out nearby to find something delicious. Most of the time, we would go to our usual places, but sometimes we would try different flavors /'fleiv?/ 口味 or ride bikes to explore other areas. Late-night snacks are really delicious but can cause internal heat 上火, so I bought a lot of herbal /'?bl/ tea 凉茶, which is very bitter. Drinking herbal tea during the day helps cool down the internal heat. It's a kind of balance, I guess.
That's how I spent my National Day holiday. It might sound boring to others. There's nothing interesting or worth sharing during holidays; it was just my daily life.
What else can I talk about? Hobbies? When I first started working, I had many hobbies and interests. I would go out to sing, play dance games at the arcade/ɑr'ked/游戏厅, roller skate, do archery /'ɑrt??ri/ 射箭, swim, play badminton /?b?dm?nt?n/ 羽毛球, and more. During my summer vacation in college, I would go swimming or play badminton in the morning with my cousins, go to the archery range in the afternoon, and roller skate in the evening. full of energy. But now, I don't enjoy going out anymore. so I've lost interest in outdoor hobbies. It's not convenient to go out in Shanghai. you have to take the subway or a taxi for a long time to reach your destination. Now, I just like staying at home, relaxing, reading novels, or playing with LEGO and building blocks. I bought many handmade wooden building blocks with mechanical /m??k?n?kl/ structures /?str?kt??r/机械结构. They have wooden gears /g?r/ for transmission, some use rubber bands 橡皮筋, and others use coiled iron sheets 铁皮卷 as power devices. Some even have a small manual generator 手动发电机 that produces electricity /??lek?tr?s?ti/ when you turn the handle. I made a small wooden vintage /?v?nt?d?/ projector 老式投影仪 using this mechanism /?mek?n?z?m/ to project films. It's very interesting. If anyone is interested, you can buy one and play with it.
I've rambled on for so long, and it's probably time to end. Hahaha. Today's sharing is just my chattering or maybe a record of my thought process for writing the topic. Whatever, I really don't know what else to write. So, let's end today's sharing here. Thank you.
