informal essay

It is a rain night, and it is so quiet that I couldn't hear anything except the click sounds of the needles of the clock hanging on the wall over the tea table in the dinning room, and occasionally there is and sound or two  of my dog's drinking or eating. I sit at the table as the night before, holding my phone between the cup that my two hands made, typing some words in the  electronic notebook of my phone.

The supper was finished, which were included two bowls of water and vegetables noodles , one boiled egg, two baked sweet potatoes, and two toast apples. they were so full that made me feel very uncomfortable. My stomach has swelled up most as big as  a water ball.

The day gets unchanged every day. Getting up at about six fifteen, after doing some toilet things, I open the door and shut it with a bang behind , follow my husband go down the stairs through the hallway toward our car. He drives me to the bus station around ten to seven. I get up the sixth Route bus around six fifty and arrive at BaGong Yicun school around seven fifty . Then, my ordinary work of the day is to begin.

Teaching, reading, reciting searching, judging, writing, talking, laughing, running, swimming…Nothing special, nothing comolicated---go to work, then go home, have two days off , Then another week comes, day by day, a week and a week……

Time passes day after day, and loneliness goes round and round. in my imagination, on those foggy or rainy or darky or gloomy or maybe desmay or delight  mornings , and  afternoons with the sun bouncing off northwest, I try to  think of where the other people might be in their life and what they might be doing as I am think what I think. Maybe their lives were just as quiet as mine, maybe were utter different from mine.

Who  knows?
