The first time in my life I've been in a car accident, needing to remember much love.

Today was truly a rollercoaster of emotions. Originally, I was playing with my youngest son at the LEGO land until it got dark. The little one was ecstatic, but on our way back home, everything was fine until suddenly a car from the adjacent lane suddenly veered into my lane, cutting me off. I couldn't hit the brakes in time, and their car scraped the driver's side of my car. There was a loud bang, and my bag from the passenger seat flew down. My son shouted out in fear. Shockingly, the person who caused the accident fled the scene. I quickly pulled over, turned on my hazard lights, and took a picture of the culprit's license plate with my phone!

Upon seeing me taking a picture with my phone, the other party, two tall Indian men, stopped their car about 10 meters away from me. It was already past 7 PM, not many cars on the road, and the lighting was poor. They spoke to me in English, asking me to drive away from the scene as it was unsafe. I felt that I couldn't leave until the responsibility was established. So, I asked them for their driver's licenses and insurance details, then began calling my friends!

Here, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to several friends of mine! My dearest neighbor and best friend, you comforted my panic in the gentlest way possible, gave me advice, and immediately called your husband to come and support me at the scene! You truly gave me immense strength and support! You calmed my panicked heart! I told myself to stay calm, my friend would arrive soon, and I wouldn't be facing these two big men alone!

Another friend of mine continuously negotiated with the other party over the phone on behalf of my family, discussing whether to settle privately or report to insurance. You were so attentive, wise, composed, and argued logically. You made the other party, who initially denied fault, eventually admit to changing lanes and hitting my car, willing to take full responsibility, resolving the issue and providing insurance and driver's license details! You solved the most troublesome problem for me after this incident! Thank you for handling the situation so smoothly and brilliantly!

Finally, I managed to take all the necessary photos at the scene and when my friend arrived, accompanied by their spouse, we safely returned home! Then, these friends gathered at my house again, discussing the details of the subsequent claims! In short, with the help of several good friends, this sudden incident was satisfactorily resolved!

Here, I deeply appreciate and thank you all! In a foreign land, you've made me feel so warm, cared for, and protected! With you all around, I feel secure! As the saying goes, at home, one relies on their parents; outside, one relies on friends. Thank you, my friends.

Of course, I also want to commend my own composure, calmness, and clear-headedness. Preserve evidence when needed, seek help when needed!

I also want to thank my seven-year-old son, who, throughout the whole hour, accompanied his mother without a single complaint, without crying or making a fuss. He behaved like a little adult, constantly reassuring me, 'Mom, I'm fine, I'm not afraid! Mom, I'm here with you!' Thank you, son, you gave Mom endless strength!

At the same time, I want to thank Mr. Jiang, who's far away overseas. Upon hearing that my car was hit, his first question was about my well-being. He said, 'As long as you're okay, take care of the kid, make sure he's not scared!' I know, due to the physical distance, there are things you can't do, but I know in your heart, what truly matters.

It's easy to add to someone's joy but difficult to help in times of trouble. Perhaps, in the course of life, this incident might not mean much, but I'll always remember this winter night close to the New Year when my friends made my heart burn with warmth! It was cold outside, but my heart was warm and sweet! I feel immensely warm and happy! I'm a fortunate person to be loved like this! i cherish a lot[Heart]
