Du Fu

Gungsun was a fair swordswoman of bygone days,

Her sword dance marveled by all men shed dazzling rays.

The lookers-on stood still as mountains fascinated;

Even the azure sky and earth seemed agitated.

They were astonished as if nine suns were shot down;

The dance looked like a scene by dragons overflown.

The dancer came as fleet as angry thunder's roar,

And then it stopped as the sea raving no more.
