Why is summer hot?

Summer is hot because of the way the earth titls towards the sun.During summer, our part of the earth is closer to the sun.This means we get more direct sunlight, which makes the days warmer.

Another reason is that the days are longer in summer.The sun in the sky for more hours,So it has more time to heat up the earth.

Long days mean more sunlight and warmth.

Lastly,the atmosphere can hold more moisture in the summer,This can make the air feel sticky and even hotter.So the title of the earth longer days ,and more moisture in the air all work together to make summer hot.
