The four sisters got three months' vacation. At first, they all planned completely relax or play instead of working. Mrs.March proposed a week-long experiment which scheduled exactly according to their ideas. The first day didn't go well, and the days became longer and longer. A week later, Mrs.March gave the servant Hannah a day off, and she also rested in bed. Girls can only rely on themselves. This was Jo's first time to cook. It failed completely. She even made a mistake between salt and sugar. This experiment made the sisters realize that having fun all day is not fun at all. They decided to do some work everyday to make each day both useful and pleasant.
