Unsing Language 

1. Presents a second text which provides a different angle on the topic in a different genre.

2. Practise reading skills and study organization and language language features of the text

3. Encourages students to relate their views and experience to the unit theme by completing a guided writing task.

九、听说部分教学步骤及要点：

听前：话题引入、背景铺垫、词汇呈现、视频片段导入；激活背景知识；激发讨论热情；启发学生预测演讲内容

听中：引导学生捕捉关键信息(演讲话语标记)

听前、中活动：听前预测、听取内容大意、理解语篇结构、获取细节信息、分析演讲者态度、分享个人评价

听后：组织学生小组合作完成任务（确定主题、罗列内容要点、搜集资料、组织语言、设计制作演示文件等）
